Who’s behind Notes of a Traveller?
Nothing to lose and a world to see.
Hey there, I’m Sophia.
After I graduated, I started travelling the world. Probably the typical path 18-year-olds take these days. What was meant to be a trip to New Zealand to earn some money and work abroad turned into a living dream. My friend convinced me to visit Bali as well, as it kind of was on our route anyway. Those weeks felt like stepping into whole new world. I left my comfort zone and all I have ever known before and discovered more of beautiful world we live in.
After New Zealand, I continued traveling through Asia. Making new experiences every day, getting to know people and their culture and seeing all those wonderful places with my own eyes made me feel alive. Each day was a new adventure and you never knew what the day will bring. From then on, travelling has been a huge part of my life. I made myself the promise to see at least one new country each year and never let go of the joy of exploring.
On this blog, I share my experiences and tipps with you. I want to encourage others to visit all the beautiful places and to experience them in the best way possible. My posts are real and are meant give you an honest review.
No matter what you are looking for: If you are fueled by wanderlust and keen for some new adventures, you are right here. Notes from a Traveller is the result of my passion for travelling. Notes from a Traveller is my note for any fellow traveller looking for the ultimate guides, tipps and insider spots that need to be explored. As many different travel blogs lead me on my way through South East Asia, I wanted to do the same. Share my experiences.
